So this comic was a manifestation of extreme frustration with the undeserved praise that is often bestowed upon particularly abstract paintings that more closely resemble rainbow vomit than actual art.  Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and if someone tells the beholder enough times that they are looking at a work of art, the beholder starts to see it even if it isn’t there.  This is a trick that the male race figured out and embraced… that or boys use shorter inches than girls.
